About RecceVC

What we do

RecceVC tracks team changes, portfolio companies, and people moves across the venture capital ecosystem. We monitor who joins and leaves VC firms, which companies appear or disappear from portfolios, and how fund teams evolve over time. All data is free and publicly accessible.

How it works

Our automated pipeline scrapes VC firm websites daily, collecting team pages and portfolio listings. Each run is compared against the previous one to detect changes: new hires, departures, title changes, and portfolio additions or removals. No manual data entry, no user-submitted data. The raw scrape data flows through a change-detection layer that builds a timeline of events for every person and company we track.

Coverage

Currently tracking 51 VC firms, 4,656 portfolio companies, and 1,281 team members.

Our coverage spans the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia, with particular depth in firms active in these regions. We continuously add new VC firms to expand coverage.
